The story
A spirited princess with the heart of a warrior embarks on a mission to fulfill an ancient prophecy and save humanity from the wrath of vengeful gods.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated 3D animation with the flat, painted-poster colour of Mexican folk art: marigold yellows, cobalt, hot pinks and jungle greens, set against stylised Aztec-inspired temples, markets and skies that glow like a sunset. The camera moves briskly through cheerful, busy compositions, with fast action sequences and playful slapstick. Its mood is warm, goofy and upbeat, a lively family adventure with a light-hearted magical edge and no real sense of dread. Music is bouncy and percussive, with mariachi-flavoured swells and comic sound effects. The pacing is quick and episodic, built for an afternoon with kids or a cheerful comfort watch. Violence is cartoonish and bloodless, with fights, monsters and gods' wrath played for slapstick rather than fear. The arc follows a headstrong young heroine learning to trust her companions and herself. It suits families and anyone who wants colourful, gentle, action-driven fun with a sense of humour.
