The story
When a gym trainer is murdered at an elite Delhi club, a wily investigator unravels the sordid secrets of its ultrarich members to find the killer.
What it’s like
Glossy, saturated interiors give this one the feel of a well-lit social set: pastel suits, polished marble, chandeliers and poolside daylight, all framed to make privilege look both gorgeous and faintly ridiculous. Camera moves are quick and sociable, with cutaways to lingering reaction shots, and the score is playful and percussive, leaning into wit more than dread. The mood is satirical crime-comedy, a tongue-in-cheek whodunit where the pleasure lies in the gossip, the staged hauteur and the sharp little reveals. Pacing is brisk and chatty, with a steady run of banter between suspects and investigator. Violence is present but not dwelt on, mostly off-screen or brief, and the sexual content is suggestive rather than explicit, with some crude jokes and mild language. Emotionally it stays light and knowing, following a cast of self-absorbed characters being gently punctured. It suits a lazy weekend, a watch with friends, or anyone who wants a murder mystery that prizes sparkle and wry social comedy over tension. It is for viewers who enjoy ensemble caper energy and a satirical look at wealth.
