The story

World-famous detective Benoit Blanc heads to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery surrounding a tech billionaire and his eclectic crew of friends.

What it’s like

Bright, sun-saturated Greek island vistas give way to glossy, showroom-clean interiors: all white walls, glass, and modernist architecture, shot with crisp digital sharpness and a playful, rhythmic editing pace. Warm daylight and bold primary colour costumes make the picture feel sunny and lively, with the occasional sleek, cool-toned cut to a sterile lab or a quiet private room. The score is light and jaunty, a bouncy, string-driven undercurrent that keeps things brisk. The vibe is breezy, satirical, and mischievously clever, a good fit for a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or a night in with friends who like to guess the culprit. Its people are vain, self-absorbed, and gleefully exposed, and the detective's sly, deadpan curiosity drives the fun. Violence is present but mostly off-screen or comic, with a murder at the centre and some brief, tidy gunfire and peril; there is no gore and little real menace, and the sexual content is minimal. It suits viewers who want a witty, twisty puzzle with a satirical edge about wealth and tech-world excess, and it is an easy, playful watch for anyone who enjoys stylish whodunits without much darkness.
