The story
Four strangers are invited by the reclusive Kabir Malhotra, to his private island of Samos, Greece. They don't know each other and they don't know him ... and by the next morning they will wish they had never come.
What it’s like
Sun-bleached and glossy, with whitewashed walls, bright Aegean blue and hard Mediterranean daylight that makes every hidden glance easier to catch. The mood shifts once the island's lush, sunny calm starts to feel like a trap, and the late-night scenes lean on shadowed villa corridors, flickering lamps and a pulsing thriller score. The vibe is sleek, paranoid suspicion, a sunlit whodunit where everyone is watching everyone. Pacing is brisk and twisty, with dialogue-heavy confrontations, sudden reveals and a steady build of mistrust among four strangers brought together by a reclusive host. Intensity is moderate: there is a murder and some violence, but the focus stays on dread and deception rather than gore, with the menace landing through tension and betrayal. It suits a mystery-hungry night in, a stylish thriller for a group watch, or anyone who enjoys guessing who is lying and why. Emotional register runs cool and suspicious, with characters who keep their guard up and slowly reveal their own secrets.
