The story

An alien who came to Earth 400 years ago is almost able to return to his own planet, but when he meets a famous actress, he doesn't want to go home.

What it’s like

Bright, glossy studio-lit interiors with saturated color, and a Seoul that shifts between sleek penthouse glass, cramped campus corridors and snowy rooftops at night. The camera leans on quick cuts, playful zooms and reaction close-ups, so the frame often feels as lively as the banter. Sound is a bouncy mix of pop ballads and bright K-drama piano, with sudden swells and comic sound effects that punctuate the jokes. The vibe is sweet, witty and romantic, with a light fantasy shimmer under the everyday, the kind of show that suits a weekend binge, a laugh-out-loud night in or a comfort rewatch when you want charm over quiet. Pacing is brisk and episodic, with the emotional beats building steadily toward tender, slightly bittersweet moments between two people who are each guarded in their own way. The romance is warm and playful, with some heavier stretches involving danger and a few violent confrontations, including a murder-driven thread that is handled with action rather than gore. Fans of rom-coms with a fantastical hook, celebrity glamour and a touch of melancholy will feel at home here.
