The story

Dejected after his girlfriend's parents decide to get her married to a more qualified man, Monu, a small-town guy, shifts to NCR for his MBA. Will he find a way to survive in the big city?

What it’s like

Grounded, everyday drama set against the sprawl of Delhi NCR, where the city's crowded streets, shared flats, and long commutes frame the story's emotional weight. The mood is wistful and quietly anxious, the feeling of being far from home and trying to make a life in an unfamiliar place, with heartbreak and ambition more present than spectacle. The pacing suits steady, episode-by-episode viewing on a weeknight or a slow weekend, rather than anything requiring full attention every minute. Its arc follows a young man from a small town, stung by a romantic setback, as he tries to build a new footing in the city, with humor and tenderness carrying much of the tone. Intensity is low: the drama is conversational and emotional, with no strong sense of graphic violence or gore, and any sexual content is implied rather than explicit. It suits viewers who enjoy relatable coming-of-age stories about starting over, and those who like Indian urban dramas centred on young people's first taste of independence.
