The story

The NieR:Automata BECOME AS GODS Edition includes the action-packed 3C3C1D119440927 downloadable content* which features “Revealing Outfit” costume for 2B, “Young Man’s Outfit” costume for 9S and “Destroyer Outfit” costume for A2. After completing new sub-quests in this downloadable content, you can enjoy playing the game while wearing these costumes from NieR Replicant. Sub-quests take the form of three different battle challenges at three different colosseums. What it’s like

Wide, sun-bleached ruins under a washed-out sky, with overgrown concrete and drifting dust, give way to bursts of saturated colour when combat erupts, glowing projectiles and bright arcs cutting through grey landscapes. The camera shifts between a fixed third-person view and side-scrolling sections, keeping the pace restless. The score is mostly orchestral and choral, with a sung vocal that rises over battles and drops to soft piano and strings in quieter stretches, so emptiness feels vast. The vibe is melancholy and strange, mixing wistful stillness with hard-edged unease, and it suits a late evening alone or a long session when you want something lonely yet oddly hopeful. Combat is constant and fast, with machines destroyed in showers of sparks and dark fluid rather than gore, and human suffering is not graphically shown, though there are unsettling moments of cruelty, death and existential dread, plus some suggestive costume choices. Its androids slowly question what they are and what they fight for. It suits players who want atmosphere and emotional weight over gentle calm, with a bleak, intense edge and sudden flashes of tenderness.
