The story

A lonely woman battles extraterrestrials who threaten her future while forcing her to face her past.

What it’s like

Long, quiet stretches of an isolated farmhouse in dim, muted light, with warm lamplight against deep blue night and a flashlight beam cutting through fog. The camera stays patient and close, often lingering on a woman moving through rooms that hold the marks of a life she has lost. Sound does most of the work: near silence broken by creaks, distant whispers, and a low, uneasy drone that swells when the visitors arrive. The alien design is sleek and unsettling, and the attacks are sudden and brutal, with a few bloody, sharp moments of violence and sustained dread rather than gore. Scenes of grief and guilt surface in fragmented flashbacks, and the pacing is slow, nearly wordless, and tense. Vibe: lonely, hushed, and haunted, a late-night watch that suits a quiet house after dark. It fits viewers who want atmosphere and emotional weight over spectacle, and who can handle a short, intense horror experience with little dialogue and no comfort in the ending.
