The story

Out to relax and have fun at a farmhouse, a couple experience horror at the hands of an unknown entity

What it’s like

Shot as shaky handheld footage, with the frame jerking, zooming and dropping into night-vision green, this Hindi found-footage horror feels like someone else's camcorder tape that was never meant to be watched. Much of it plays out in the dim, low-lit interiors of a farmhouse, with flashlight beams cutting across bare walls, flickering bulbs, and the grainy blue-grey of pre-dawn rural dark. The sound design leans on sudden silence, rustling, distant knocking and jolting stings, with little score to soften the moments. The vibe is seedy, claustrophobic unease, and it suits a late night alone with the lights off or a dare with friends. Pacing is restless and escalating, with long stretches of ordinary, fidgety couple banter giving way to abrupt, disturbing turns. Emotionally it is cynical and grim, centred on a young woman whose trust is betrayed and a man who unravels under fear and guilt. Intensity is high: there is sexual content including explicit footage, bondage imagery including handcuffs, and brutal violence and murder with real shock and some gore. It is not gentle. It suits viewers who want raw, low-budget found-footage dread and can handle sexual content and cruelty.
