The story

What it’s like
Hand-drawn creatures and dense, colour-banded 2D rooms, lit by the grey-green glow of overcast skies and the amber of hollow industrial ruins, with rain sheeting down the screen in long, patient cycles. The soundtrack is mostly ambient drone and rain, with ambient hums and the odd sudden rattle of a predator's movement pulling attention sharply back to the screen. Its vibe is isolated, melancholic and quietly tense, the feeling of a long, unhurried wander through a hostile ecosystem where every shelter is temporary. It suits a rainy evening, a late-night session alone, or a stretch of focused play when you have time to learn a region room by room. Pacing is slow and deliberate, punctuated by sharp bursts of danger. Violence is present and frequent, with predators that hunt and kill your small character, but it is abstract and cartoonish rather than gory, and failure is common and expected. Emotionally it is about perseverance and a small, fragile life adapting over time. It is for players who enjoy atmospheric survival, careful exploration, and the slow satisfaction of mastering a difficult, unforgiving world.
