The story

A roguelite city builder set in a fantasy world tormented by the everlasting rain. Settle the unknown wilds to discover and rebuild the ruins of a long-forgotten civilization. Develop technologies that will help your citizens tackle destructive storms and extend the frontier of your civilization.

What it’s like

Grey-green rain and lantern-lit wooden settlements, with the palette kept deliberately muted: moss, slate, rust-brown timber, and warm amber glowing from windows and furnaces against a permanently overcast sky. The hand-painted, slightly storybook art direction gives the chunky buildings and bustling workers a soft, illustrated charm, while the rain itself is a constant presence in the soundscape, a steady patter that swells into the thunder of incoming storms. Music is gentle and folk-tinged, with pizzicato strings and quiet woodwind that let the ambient clatter of sawmills and gears come forward. Each run unfolds at a deliberate, contemplative pace: you plan supply chains, watch production ticks over, and prepare for the next weather event, with brief spikes of urgency when a storm hits. Violence is absent, and the tension is logistical rather than frightening, carried by the threat of a failing colony rather than harm to anyone. The mood is cozy but quietly anxious, a rainy-afternoon puzzle that rewards patience. It suits long evenings with a warm drink, background play while the weather outside matches the screen, and players who enjoy slow-burn city builders with roguelite replayability.
