The story
A young bride's wedding night turns into her worst nightmare when her ridiculously rich in-laws force her to play a gruesome game of hide-and-seek.
What it’s like
Glossy, saturated gothic-luxury: a sprawling mansion draped in candlelight, cream and gold interiors, and wide, sweeping camera moves that suddenly snap into jittery handheld chase when the hunt begins. The sound design leans on a pounding synth-and-strings score and bright, mocking wedding-party music that keeps undercutting the dread. Its vibe is darkly sardonic, a satirical thriller with a grin, best suited to a Friday night with friends or a loud, late-night rewatch. The pacing is brisk and escalating, with a bride's frantic scramble through rooms and hallways building toward a strikingly bloody, often gleefully over-the-top climax. Expect graphic gore, frequent brutal violence, peril, and dark humour; sexual content is limited but present in the wedding setup. Tone is anarchic and blackly comic rather than frightening in a quiet way, and the arc follows a stubborn outsider who refuses to be a victim. Made for viewers who want horror that's funny, mean and energetic, with a wealthy-family satire running underneath.
