The story
A 17-year-old girl uses her wits, survival skills, and compassion to fight for her life, and those of her fellow classmates, against a group of live-streaming school shooters.
What it’s like
Fluorescent corridors, cold tiled floors and a school building that feels exposed once the lights go out, shot in a restless, handheld style that keeps the camera close to its characters. The mood is adrenaline-driven dread, with the pulse of a thriller rather than slow atmosphere, and the sound design leans on sudden gunfire, blasts and tense silences between them. The pacing is relentless, built around escalating confrontations and short breathers that never quite feel safe. A teenage girl's arc moves from fear toward steady resolve, and her relationships with classmates carry a thread of compassion amid the chaos. Intensity is high: frequent shootings, killing and murder, explosions, and a school-shooting premise handled with real menace and sustained violence, with little gore shown in close detail but plenty of brutal impact. This is not gentle viewing. It suits people who want a fast, tense, action-heavy thriller on a night when they can handle sustained onscreen violence and want to be kept on edge from start to finish.
