The story
Savitri, the matriarch of a massive cartel in the lawless Borderlands, opens up a battle for succession to find her heir in a murky world of drugs and violence.
What it’s like
Built around a crime-family succession story, this is a dark, tense drama with action beats, set in a lawless borderland where the air is thick with menace and every alliance feels provisional. The mood sits in murky, morally compromised territory: cold calculation, suspicion between relatives, and power passed through fear as much as loyalty. Its pacing suits a committed evening rather than background viewing, with the drama building toward confrontations that carry real stakes. Violence and drug-trade content are central to the premise, so this is not gentle viewing, and the exact severity of the on-screen brutality is unclear from what is known here. It suits people drawn to ruthless matriarchs, family rivalries played out on a criminal scale, and crime dramas where the power struggle matters more than the chase.
