The story
Unspeakable horrors roam the halls of high school in this anthology featuring ghost stories directed by seasoned Thai horror directors.
What it’s like
Dim fluorescent corridors, sweat-damp school uniforms and rain against chalkboard-green windows set the look, with each episode shifting palette and framing to suit its own chill: cold blue night shots of empty classrooms, sickly yellow lamplight in stairwells, and handheld close-ups that crowd a frightened face. Sound leans on creaking lockers, distant footsteps and sudden silence, with eerie, sparse scoring that drops out just before the scare. The vibe is uneasy and atmospheric, somewhere between campfire-story dread and creeping school-night unease, best suited to a late-night watch with the lights off or a spooky-season binge with friends. Pacing is episodic and brisk, each segment building tension quickly before a sharp turn, and the emotional register favors fear and unease over heartbreak, with teenagers caught in mysteries they can't control. Horror is the core: supernatural menace, ghostly apparitions, and creepy imagery, with jump scares and disturbing moments, some blood and violence, though nothing sustained or gratuitous. For viewers who want genre chills, Thai ghost-story texture and short, self-contained mysteries.
