The story

A corrupt police officer enjoys all the perks of being an immoral and unethical police officer until an event which transforms his life completely and forces him to choose the righteous path.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated Mumbai street-scapes in daylight and sodium-lit night, with wide frames that favour crowded bazaars, dusty lanes and loud, colourful set pieces over moody realism. The look is glossy commercial Bollywood: punchy primary palettes, slow-motion hero entrances, and a camera that swings and zooms through chase sequences with a cartoon-like energy. The score is brassy and percussive, leaning into dhol beats and big orchestral swells, with comic sound effects punctuating the fights. Vibe: brash, playful, mock-heroic, the kind of mainstream entertainment that loves a swagger. It suits a Saturday afternoon with friends, a loud and lighthearted night in, or a crowd-pleasing watch when you want energy over subtlety. Pacing is brisk and deliberately overstuffed, with song breaks and slapstick interludes between shootouts. Tone stays mostly comic and irreverent, though it turns earnest in its back half as a flawed cop slowly reconsiders his corruption. Violence is frequent and stylised, with punch-heavy brawls and gunfights played for spectacle and laughs rather than gore; there is some romantic and sensual content, and occasional rough language. It is for viewers who want a fun, bombastic cop caper with a redemption arc and don't mind a little melodrama.
