What it’s like
Bright, cartoonish sci-fi in the way a late-nineties PC game could be: saturated teal and warm orange station interiors, rounded alien architecture, and a torus-shaped space station that sprawls across three stacked decks, all seen from an angled overhead camera that makes the whole structure feel like a diorama you are tending. Sound is chirpy and busy, full of little alien chatter, clanking machinery and a playful score that loops comfortably in the background. The feel is warm, wry and managerial, with a steady real-time rhythm: you adjust corridors, switch on lights, set up leisure zones and watch populations of different species drift through them, occasionally bickering or befriending each other. Intensity is low: there is cartoon slapstick, petty crime and the occasional mischief, but no gore, no real violence on screen and nothing frightening. It suits a lazy afternoon at the desk, a relaxed evening of tinkering, or a stretch of sandbox play with no deadlines. It is for players who enjoy building and running a small, quirky world, who like terraforming and ecosystem tinkering, and who want strategy that stays gentle and funny rather than tense.
