The story

Highly intelligent computer major Zoey Miller is uninterested in romantic love, but her life is turned upside down when Zack, the school's soccer star, gets amnesia and mistakes Zoey for his girlfriend.

What it’s like

Bright, glossy, sunlit digital colour, with snow-dusted mountain slopes and busy campus corridors in cheerful pastels and warm indoor glow. The camera stays tidy and conventional, favouring easy two-shots and brisk cutting, while the score leans on upbeat pop and light romantic strings. The vibe is breezy, sweet and gently screwball, well suited to a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort watch on the sofa, or easy company on a long evening. Pacing is quick and playful, with snappy banter and a comic rhythm that rarely sags. The emotional register is warm and teasing: a sharp, self-reliant young woman who resists romance slowly softens, opposite a charming athlete who learns to see her anew. Intensity is very mild, with a few slips and tumbles on the slopes, some kissing and flirtatious teasing, and no violence, gore or real cruelty. For people who want a feel-good teen romcom with heart and easy laughs.
