What it’s like
Bright, sun-bleached sci-fi with dusty orange horizons, grey-green industrial sprawl and sudden blooms of muzzle flash and sparking metal. The mood is kinetic and high-energy: a rapid, bouncing rhythm of wall-running, double jumps and drops from the sky, punctuated by the heavy stomp and clank of giant mechs. The soundtrack leans on pounding electronic percussion and bombastic synth swells, while the mech and gun audio is crunchy and physical, with radio chatter filling the gaps between firefights. Emotionally it sits in a brisk, adrenaline-first register with a light underlying wistfulness about its war-torn frontier, and its characters stay mostly sketched in service of the spectacle. Violence is constant but cartoon-clean: lots of gunfire and mech-on-mech destruction, no gore, sparse blood, and nothing sexual. The fun is in movement and momentum, so it suits an energetic evening or a session with friends. It is for players who want fast, vertical, stylish combat with a sense of scale and a rhythm they can ride.
