The story
After seven years in a Málaga prison, a male stripper is released pending retrial and sets out to prove his lover framed him for her husband's murder.
What it’s like
Sun-bleached Costa del Sol streets and glossy, saturated nightlife, with warm daylight on whitewashed terraces giving way to pulsing club neon and sweaty, low-lit rooms. The camera stays close and mobile in the dance spaces, lingering on bodies and reactions, while the court and prison scenes turn cooler and flatter. Music leans on upbeat Spanish pop and dance tracks that keep the mood buoyant even when the stakes tighten. Pacing is brisk and soap-like, with frequent reversals and cliffhanger episode endings. The emotional register swings between playful flirtation and noir-tinged suspicion, and its central figure moves from wounded defiance toward a tentative willingness to trust. Sexual content is frequent and fairly explicit, including nudity and stripping; violence is occasional and sudden, including a murder and some prison scuffles, but rarely drawn out. It suits a binge over a weekend, late-night viewing, or anyone who wants a sultry, twisty crime drama. It is for viewers who enjoy melodrama, sexual tension and a sunny setting with a dark undertow.
