The story

Warsow is set in a futuristic cartoonish world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets. It is a completely free, fast-paced first-person shooter without hard graphical violence. Red stars instead of blood indicate hits and colored cubes replace guts as gib effects.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated arenas built from clean geometric shapes and cartoon-sharp colour, with neon-edged cyberpunk streets, glowing portals and cubes that burst apart in cheerful confetti rather than gore. Hits flash as red stars, so the action reads as bouncy and playful even at full speed. The feel is hyperkinetic and kinetic: strafing, wall jumps and rocket trails threading through tight corridors, with synth-driven music pulsing underneath frantic firefights and the quick rhythm of respawns and instant replays. Its vibe is zippy, goofy and cheerful, a candy-coloured sci-fi playground for a quick match or a long session of chasing friends across the map. Violence is constant but cartoonish: explosions, rockets and lasers, with no realistic blood or gore and nothing frightening or cruel. It suits players who want fast, skilful arena shooting with a light, comic touch, especially those who enjoy free games, multiplayer scrambles and custom-built maps, and anyone who wants intense action without any grim or graphic edge.
