The story

Resogun is a shoot 'em up game. Unleash an explosive array of devastating weapons to obliterate hordes of ruthless enemies while making sure you rescue the last survivors and keep your multiplier going! Push yourself to the limits trying to climb the global leaderboards for each game mode and difficulty setting. Join forces with your friends online and show off your skills in action packed co-op multiplayer.

What it’s like

Bright, blocky voxel explosions bloom against a dark void, with each enemy shattering into chunky cubes that scatter and drift like confetti. The palette is tightly colour-coded: neon greens, hot oranges and electric blues sit on near-black backdrops, so every shot and pickup reads at a glance even when the screen is a blizzard of debris. Camera work is locked to a fixed side-on or cylindrical view that wraps around a rotating planet-tube, and the motion is relentlessly smooth at 60 frames per second. The soundtrack pulses with driving electronic beats that swell during boss fights and thin out to tense, rhythmic stings between waves, while the crackle of weapons and the thump of destroyed foes provide a satisfying percussive layer. Sessions are short and intense, built for pick-up-and-play bursts of adrenaline, and the mood is exhilarated, focused and high-energy rather than gloomy. Violence is abstract and bloodless, all sci-fi spaceship destruction and glowing debris, with no gore and no sexual content, though the pace can feel frantic. It suits players who love arcade score-chasing, leaderboard rivalries and co-op rescue runs with friends.
