The story
Engage in a terrifying quest for survival as you navigate the labyrinthine Sevastopol station. Unprepared and underequipped, you will need all your wits and daring to get out alive.
What it’s like
Dim, grimy corridors lit mostly by flickering fluorescent tubes, motion trackers blinking green in the dark, and a flashlight beam that cuts a narrow cone through rust-brown and steel-grey interiors. The art direction borrows the retro-futurist clutter of the 1979 film: CRT monitors, chunky consoles, ventilation shafts and cramped maintenance tunnels that feel lived-in and abandoned at once. The soundscape is mostly unsettling quiet, broken by distant metallic clanks, hissing pipes, the rattle of a vent, and a tracker's rising chirp that turns every corner into a question. Pacing is slow and deliberate, built on hiding, listening and waiting, with sudden bursts of panicked running when something finds you. Its vibe is tense, claustrophobic dread with long stretches of stillness. It is intense throughout: frequent jump-scare encounters, a menacing creature that hunts you relentlessly, and brief but grim deaths, with some gore and no gentle moments. It suits late nights with headphones on and anyone who wants survival horror that rewards patience, careful movement and nerve over combat, for players who enjoy being hunted in a space that never quite feels safe.
