The story

While looking for the existence of the Great Beyond, Professor Patrick Moore, aided by a fake medium, will build a device to see the other side, embark on a search for a millenary artefact, and investigate the most haunted manor of 1907 England.

What it’s like

Gentle period eeriness with a wry edge, the feel of a 1907 English country house after dark, its rooms dim and cluttered with curios, séance paraphernalia, and half-understood machinery. As a point-and-click adventure it moves at the pace of the player's own curiosity: slow exploration, examining objects, and long stretches of working out how one clue leads to the next. Expect a sense of puzzle-box satisfaction rather than action or speed, with a light, teasing humour running through the dialogue. The relationship at its center, a sceptical scholar reluctantly working alongside a fraudulent spiritualist, gives the story a warm, bantering rhythm. Its supernatural unease reads as ghost-story atmosphere more than shock, and it is single-player throughout, suited to unhurried evenings on PC or Switch. It is for players who enjoy old-fashioned adventure games, Victorian and Edwardian settings, and mysteries they can unravel at their own pace.
