The story

BLACK SOULS II is the censored release of the Dark Fairy Tale Fantasy x Psychological Horror RPG focusing on the themes of "Exploration of a Mad World" and "Life or Death Combat against Demonbeasts". Despair. Fear, Madness, once again. An original work based on "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass."

What it’s like

Muted, decayed fairy-tale palettes of rust, bruised violet and sickly green, with tilemap streets and corridors that feel hollow and wrong under a low, constant hum. The combat stings: monsters loom in grotesque, illustrated detail, and fights are tense and unforgiving, so the mood is one of dread more than spectacle. The soundscape leans on sparse, eerie melodies and long silences that break with abrupt stings, the kind of quiet that makes you check the corners of the screen. Its vibe is bleak, unsettling and mournful, closer to a nightmare that drifts than a story that rushes. It suits a late night alone with headphones, or a patient session where you're happy to sit in discomfort and die a few times. Intensity runs high: frequent violence, gore and disturbing imagery, with psychological horror that lingers rather than jumps. Nothing about it is gentle, and this censored release strips out the explicit sexual content of the original version while keeping the despair intact. It is for players who want a grim, Alice-shaped dark fantasy, drawn to oppressive atmosphere, punishing combat and a world that never quite lets them feel safe.
