The story

A 3D platformer featuring unique low-light gameplay. Players control the candle and can move, jump and light up. As the candle burns, it reveals safe passage and drips wax but also reduces its height and lifespan. Players must navigate the dark and treacherous landscape and solve puzzles in order to reach the blue light at the end of each level.

What it’s like

Dim, low-light play where the only real source of illumination is your own small flame, so the world shows itself in warm pools and retreats into blackness everywhere else. Each step lights a little more of the path while the candle steadily shortens, and that slow shrinking gives the calm exploration a quiet undertow of tension, like watching a long evening lamp burn down. The pace is deliberate and puzzle-led: you jump, climb and wait for a moment of light to reveal the next route, then move on toward a single cool blue glow at the end of each level. The mood is solitary, patient and a little melancholy, with an atmosphere of hushed darkness rather than noise. Danger comes from the terrain and the clock rather than from combat, so the intensity stays low and the tension is mostly of the slow, thinking-ahead kind. It suits a quiet evening alone, a patient puzzle session with headphones on, or anyone who enjoys atmospheric platforming where light itself is the mechanic and the pleasure is in careful, unhurried navigation.
