The story
Manu, a bodybuilder from Chandigarh, India, falls in love with Maanvi, a Zumba teacher. All seems well until a revelation causes turmoil in their love story.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated daylight fills this Bollywood romance, with sun-washed Chandigarh streets, tidy planned avenues lined with trees, and warm, crowded family interiors. Gym scenes carry hard fluorescent glare and sweat-sheened bodies, while the Zumba studio is all mirrors and pastel-lit movement. Camera work is mostly steady and open, with bouncy handheld energy in the dance numbers and Punjabi wedding festivities, where bhangra beats, brass, and loud pop songs take over the soundtrack. Between the set pieces, the quieter moments turn softer, with close, warm framing on faces and lingering reactions. The vibe is breezy and sentimental, a comfort watch for a lazy weekend afternoon or a light evening with friends. Pacing swings between buoyant comedy and a more earnest middle stretch as the central relationship wobbles, and the emotional arc follows two people working through hurt and pride toward a hard-won reconciliation. Intensity stays low: some romantic kissing and suggestive banter, emotional confrontation, and no graphic violence or gore. It suits viewers who want heartfelt romance, colourful music, and a warm, familiar tone without darkness.
