The story
Crashmo, also known as Fallblox, is the sequel to Pushmo and is available for the 3DS eShop.
What it’s like
Bright, chunky block sculptures rendered in a clean, toy-like style, each level a self-contained picture built from stacked cubes that look like pixel art brought into three dimensions. The palette is cheerful and saturated, with soft shadows and simple flat colors, and the camera sits at a fixed angle so every puzzle reads at a glance. The soundtrack is light and bouncy, with playful chiptune-leaning melodies and cheerful sound effects for every block that tumbles into place. Its vibe is gentle, whimsical, and quietly absorbing, the kind of game that suits a lazy afternoon, a commute on the train, or a few minutes before bed. Pacing is unhurried: you pull, push, and rewind your way through a series of small, satisfying problems, with the tempo building as the stacks grow taller and the blocks begin to fall. Emotionally it stays light and encouraging, with a steady sense of discovery and no real stakes beyond a moment of tidy frustration. There is no violence, gore, or fear; the only conflict is spatial and logical. It suits players who want calm, clever puzzling, fans of tactile block games, and anyone who enjoys sharing and playing community-made creations.
