The story

Critter Crunch is an award winning, arcade-style puzzle game, starring the loveable Biggs. Using his long, sticky tongue to grab critters from vines above, he feeds them to each other until they burst, dropping tasty jewels for him to gobble up. Using Critter Crunch's 'Food Chain' mechanic, players will eat their way through a smorgasbord of levels and gorge on a feast of modes, including Co-op and Versus multiplayer. Oh, and barf. Rainbow barf!

What it’s like

Bright, cartoonish and cheerful, with a bouncy arcade rhythm built around quick, tactile puzzle moves. A cute creature tongue-grabs critters from hanging vines and chains them together until they pop in small bursts of colour, leaving jewels and a splash of rainbow barf in their wake. The countdown timer keeps the pace lively without ever feeling punishing, and each round is short enough to play in bursts. Its vibe is playful, silly and warm: a comfortable, low-stakes game for a family evening, a casual session with a friend, or a few levels with the kids. The mild explosions and cartoon slapstick are the most intense things on screen, and nothing about it is frightening or cruel. It suits anyone who wants a light, goofy puzzler with a co-op and versus option for sharing the fun, and it works well on a controller for relaxed couch play.
