The story
Rahul and Riana meet each other for the first time, get drunk, and awake the next morning to find that they have gotten legally married to each other.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy studio color with warm skin tones, sunlit Mumbai apartments, and the bustle of a Las Vegas chapel and strip, all shot in a bouncy, easygoing style with plenty of quick cuts and playful close-ups. Pop-leaning Hindi songs and a light, buoyant score carry the mood, and the sound stays chatty and lively throughout. The vibe is breezy, sweet and a little chaotic, the kind of feel-good comedy that suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or an evening when you want something upbeat with a soft heart. Pacing is brisk, with the comedy and romance trading places constantly, and the emotional register stays warm and teasing. A reluctant pair who start out prickly gradually grow closer, with their friction softening into affection. Intensity is low: there is some drinking and mild flirtation, a few kisses, and some family bickering, but no violence, gore or real cruelty. It is for viewers who want a light, romantic, laugh-out-loud film with a glossy look and a warm, forgiving tone.
