The story
When the Pevensie siblings each follow their own path, they find themselves at Willy's Chocolate Factory. Walking through a wardrobe, they discover the world of Gnarnia, ruled by the White Bitch. Meeting up with characters such as Harry Potter and Captain Jack Swallows, the newly reunited family must team up with Aslo, a wise-but-horny lion to stop the White Bitch's army.
What it’s like
Bright, flat studio lighting and bland, saturated sets that look like a cheap fantasy theme park, shot in cheerful wide frames with the camera parked and waiting for the gag to land. The palette is candy-coloured and overlit, with costume and production design that wink at every blockbuster in sight, and the sound is a loud, cheerful mash of pop-tune cues and sudden stingers that cut hard to slapstick. The pacing is relentless, a sketch-show rhythm where one gag crashes into the next and rarely lets a quiet beat breathe. Its tone is crude, juvenile and cheerfully unembarrassed, the vibe of a Friday-night rental watched with friends who are already laughing before the punchline. The intensity is sexual and crude throughout, with frequent bawdy innuendo, bodily gags and some sexual content, plus broad slapstick violence and mock-fight sequences played for laughs rather than real threat. Not gentle, and not for anyone wanting restraint. It suits people who want big, dumb, pointed-at-everything spoof comedy and don't mind being hit with a joke every few seconds.
