The story

In this first-person Western RPG, the player takes on the role of Courier 6, barely surviving after being robbed of their cargo, shot and put into a shallow grave by a New Vegas mob boss. The Courier sets out to track down their robbers and retrieve their cargo, and winds up getting tangled in the complex ideological and socioeconomic web of the many factions and settlements of post-nuclear Nevada.

What it’s like

Dusty desert light and wide, sun-bleached vistas dotted with ruined neon, rusted signage and the glow of the Strip after dark, all rendered in a warm, weathered palette of ochre, turquoise and rust. The first-person view stays close to the ground, with long sightlines across empty flats and sudden tight frames inside cramped bunkers and saloons. The soundtrack leans on old-west twang and crooning standards crackling through radios, broken up by the hum of Pip-Boy menus and the tick of a Geiger counter. The vibe is wry, melancholic and frequently bloody, a post-apocalyptic Western with a sly sense of humor about its own ruins. Violence is frequent and sometimes brutal, with gunfights, gore and intense, sudden deaths, plus drug use and mature themes. It suits long, unhurried evenings, when you want to wander a dusty map, make small talk with strangers and chase side stories for hours. It is built for players who enjoy dense role-playing choices, faction politics and a world that rewards curiosity and patience over fast action.
