The story
When a father and daughter discover they both secretly work for the CIA, their high-stakes missions get tangled up with awkward family dynamics.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy digital photography with plenty of daylight, sunlit exteriors, and crisp, busy action set against sun-washed cities and ordinary suburban kitchens. The camera moves with the stunts: handheld tracking through crowded streets, kinetic fist fights and gunfights cut quickly, and comic beats played in medium close-ups. The score is upbeat and rock-leaning, with punchy needle drops that keep the energy up. The vibe is breezy and amused, a loud, cheerful action comedy with a warm sitcom heartbeat. Violence is frequent but cartoonish and bloodless, with brisk shootouts and brawls, some crude language, and light sexual innuendo; nothing lingers on cruelty or gore. The pace is brisk and episodic, and the central arc is a gruff, older man and his capable younger daughter learning to work around each other's secrets and clumsy attempts at closeness. It suits a lazy weekend binge, a light-hearted night in, or anyone who wants big set pieces with a grin, especially fans of family-tinged action comedies.
