The story
A year after the first movie, the four friends are enjoying their lives to the fullest, get in trouble once again with Bholi, who is released from prison earlier than expected and is broke.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated Delhi streets and crowded bazaars shot in flat daylight, with the camera planted for quick comic beats and wide frames that let slapstick and rooftop chaos play out in full. Colour is loud and cheerful: primary reds, yellows and teals on clothing and set dressing, with dusty, sun-baked exteriors that feel lived-in rather than glossy. The score is buoyant Hindi-pop and bhangra-tinged pop, dropped into scenes for punchline emphasis, so the rhythm stays brisk and cheerful throughout. The vibe is scruffy, high-energy friendship comedy, the kind of raucous, easy watch that suits a Saturday afternoon with friends or a silly weekend binge when you want to laugh rather than think. Pacing is quick and episodic, built on escalating scams, misunderstandings and chases, while the emotional register stays warm and teasing, with the four lead men bickering and looking out for one another. Intensity is low: some comic violence and slapstick falls, a brief tense moment or two, and no gore, sexual content or real cruelty. It suits viewers who want a goofy, good-natured caper with a loyal group of misfits, and sequel fans who enjoyed the original's lightness.
