The story

A depressed wealthy businessman and a spunky carefree young woman embark on an unexpected journey that changes their lives.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated colour carries most of this film: Punjabi mustard fields and marigold-orange turbans, the sooty red and green of a long-distance train, and sun-washed Himachal hills rendered in wide, generous frames. The camera moves with easy energy, sweeping through crowded platforms and tight compartments, then settling into intimate two-shots when the mood softens. Music is melodic and bouncy, with bright strings, dhol beats and sentimental ballads that swell at quiet moments. Vibe: warm, bubbly, bittersweet, a little giddy. It suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or a long journey where you want something uplifting. The pacing is brisk and playful, with comic set pieces that give way to slower, tender stretches as a guarded man slowly opens up to a chatterbox who refuses to be quiet. Intensity is low: some slapstick and brief emotional upset, with no violence or sexual content beyond light romantic touches. It is for viewers who want romance that is funny, sincere and gently sentimental.
