The story
As a righteous cop pursues a merciless criminal in Bihar, he finds himself navigating a deadly chase and a moral battle mired in corruption.
What it’s like
Dusty, sun-hardened streets and crowded district towns, shot with the grit of a crime procedural: handheld movement during chases, tight interiors lit by harsh tube lights and dim police-station bulbs, and a palette of drab browns, grey concrete and sudden flashes of colour in markets. The sound leans on a driving percussive score that surges during pursuits and drops to tense quiet in negotiations and back-room conversations. Its vibe is gritty, tense and morally weary, best suited to a committed evening in with the sound up or a binge across several episodes. The pacing is steady and escalating across a miniseries run, with each chapter tightening the chase and the compromises that come with it. Its people are shaped by pressure, a principled officer slowly tested by the corruption around him. Violence is present throughout: shootouts, physical confrontations and threats, with some brutality, though it is not gory. It suits viewers who want a dark, character-driven crime story and are comfortable with sustained tension and moral strain, rather than anyone looking for something gentle or light.
