The story

A thrilling story-driven action RPG, with a rich open world, set in 15th century Medieval Europe. Experience the ultimate medieval adventure - through the eyes of young Henry - as you embark on a journey of epic proportions.

What it’s like

Rain-slick cobbles, smoke from thatched roofs, and wide Bohemian countryside under heavy overcast skies give this game a grounded, earthy palette of mud browns, faded greens and stone grey, with a sense of weather that actually changes how the land feels to cross. The camera mostly sits close over the shoulder, and the faces of its characters are rendered with a lived-in roughness that makes ordinary village talk feel weighty. Sound does much of the work: hoofbeats on packed dirt, clattering market stalls, distant church bells, and a restrained, sombre score that rises only at key moments. The vibe is earnest, slow-burning and quietly tense, the kind of experience best saved for a long evening alone or a weekend of unhurried exploration. Pacing is deliberate, with long stretches of travel, conversation and small chores punctuated by sharp, weighty combat that can be brutal and bloody when it happens. Violence is frequent and visceral, with blood, injuries and some harsh cruelty, and there is occasional nudity and sexual content. Its tone is serious and realistic rather than fantastical. It suits players who want a historically flavoured world, patient systems-driven play, and a young protagonist slowly learning to survive.
