The story

Nandan, a middle-class man, finds a suitcase full of money near his workplace and steals it. However, he is soon chased by a police officer, a notorious gangster and a corrupt politician.

What it’s like

Brisk, bustling and brightly comic, with the rhythm of a caper that keeps tightening its knots. The mood is scrappy and playful: a paper-thin premise pulled tight by escalating panic, sharp banter and one mistake after another. Chases and standoffs land with more slapstick than dread, so the tension stays light and the laughs come fast. Expect a steady, bouncy pace that rarely lets up, with an everyman at the centre whose ordinary decency keeps getting tested by much worse people. The violence is limited to threats, scuffles and pursuit, with no gore and little cruelty on screen, and the darkness is mostly in the situation rather than the imagery. It suits a lazy weekend evening, a group watch, or anyone wanting a fast, funny thriller that doesn't ask them to sit in misery. It's for viewers who enjoy comedic crime stories, quick wit and a protagonist who is out of his depth from the first scene.
