The story

N++ is a fast-paced, action-packed platformer set in the distant future. You play as a ninja, darting through obstacles, narrowly evading a slew of inadvertently homicidal enemy robots and collecting gold in a minimalist, sci-fi world. N++ is all about smooth physics, deftly controlling the speed and inertia of the character, and the awesome feeling of fluidly moving through each level.

What it’s like

Stark monochrome rooms drawn in clean white lines on near-black, with the ninja a tiny glowing silhouette and the gold a bright flicker against the dark, so every screen reads as a crisp diagram rather than a painted world. The palette stays almost entirely neutral, broken only by the occasional sharp accent when a hazard or exit lights up. Sound is a sparse electronic pulse that quickens as you move, with the clack of a jump and the chime of collected gold punctuating long stretches of hushed synth. The feel is precise and kinetic: momentum carries the ninja through tight geometric chambers, and the controls reward flow with a satisfying slide and bounce that becomes almost meditative once a route clicks. Vibe: clean, focused, quietly exhilarating, best for a late-night session alone or a short burst of play when you want a sharp, tactile puzzle to lose yourself in. Intensity is mild: enemies are robots and the failure states are quick, bright deaths with no gore, though repeated attempts can be frustrating. Best for players who enjoy mastering a tight physics system, pattern-solving and the pleasure of a perfectly timed run.
