The story
Trapped in a deadly cursed Mafia game, the students of Yoo-il High must play the game to survive while unraveling the mysteries behind the curse.
What it’s like
Tense, claustrophobic unease in a school setting, with the dread of a game where people die. Shadowy night scenes and the quiet menace of a classroom turned against its students suit late-night viewing with the lights off. The pacing runs on accusation and suspicion: each round of the game forces a choice, and the mood tightens around who can be trusted. Its emotional register is anxious and bewildered, with friendships strained under pressure and characters who are frightened, confused, and increasingly desperate to understand the curse. Violence and sudden deaths are part of the premise and should be expected, though the specific level of gore is unclear from the available information. It is built for viewers who enjoy high-stakes puzzle thrillers, social-deduction games like Mafia, and Korean teen dramas with a dark supernatural edge, and it is not a fit for anyone seeking something gentle or low-stakes.
