The story
More recipes, more chefs, more kitchens! You’ll be having a whale of a time as you cook up kebab skewers and smoothies with our new friends the ever so exotic parrot chef and the fiery island chef. Go head-to-head in two scorching versus levels or combat the hungry masses as a team in one of the 12 new succulent story levels, using your trusty water pistol to clean dishes for maximum cooperation or against each other for maximum chaos…Whatever floats your boat!
What it’s like
Bright, cartoonish kitchens with flat, saturated colour: sunny beach shacks, sandy docks and boiling island galleys rendered in chunky hand-drawn style, with bouncing animated chefs and bold, readable outlines. The soundtrack is upbeat, bouncy and steel-drum-tinged, with a constant clatter of pans, sizzling grills and the squirt of the water pistol punctuating every round. Pacing is frantic and loud, with timers ticking down and orders piling up, though the mood underneath stays cheerfully silly rather than tense. Cooperative play with friends turns the kitchen into a comedy of mistakes, shouting, and sudden improvised teamwork, while the versus levels bring playful sabotage and chaos. Intensity is very low: no gore or violence beyond slapstick splashes and mock-combat with squirt guns, and no fear beyond the ticking clock. Best for sofa co-op nights with friends or family, and for anyone wanting a loud, lighthearted, low-stakes game that rewards cooperation and generous laughter over careful strategy.
