The story
An exploration of the relationships and identities of Marco and Andrea, 2 twins who look identical but approach life in a very different way. The twins begin a journey of discovery and transition from what they should be to what they want to be, which will also involve their group of friends, all united by the search for their place in the world.
What it’s like
Warm, handheld-leaning coming-of-age textures, with close, intimate framing on faces and small domestic moments, and an unhurried teen-drama rhythm that lets conversations and silences breathe. The mood is tender and searching, a bit bold in its honesty about bodies, desire and self-definition, but never cynical. Expect bright, ordinary daylight and friends' bedrooms, cafés and school corridors rather than stylised darkness, with music that tends toward soft indie pop and gentle swells at emotional peaks. The emotional register is earnest and open: the central pair's arc is one of mirroring and separation, of two people who look alike learning to be distinct. Romantic and sexual content between teenagers is frank and present, including kissing and intimate scenes, while violence is minimal and any conflict stays interpersonal, with family tension and teenage cruelty landing as emotional sting rather than physical harm. It suits a rainy weekend or a late evening alone, and people who want a queer coming-of-age story with a sincere, unpolished heart.
