The story

After Santa Claus (codename: Red One) is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security must team up with the world's most infamous tracker in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated holiday color against glossy digital sheen: snowy North Pole workshops glowing in warm fairy-light amber, then a shift into sunlit tropical streets, rain-slick city nights and crisp alpine white, shot in a polished, high-budget studio style with fast cutting and punchy wide-angle action. The sound leans on bouncy festive pop, jingling sleigh-bell motifs and loud, bombastic set-piece scoring, with the silliness of the workshop elves and a talking polar bear adding a constant comic hum. The vibe is breezy, cheeky Christmas fun: a holiday caper that trades heavy stakes for big laughs and buddy-cop banter. Pacing is brisk and nonstop, with frequent chases, fights and gadget gags, though the mood stays light and affectionate throughout. Its central pairing is an odd-couple one, a gruff, guarded protector slowly warming to a wisecracking rogue who discovers a softer side. Violence is frequent and cartoonishly comic: punches, explosions, gunfire and vehicle crashes, with blood almost absent and nothing lingering or cruel. Good for family movie nights, holiday-season crowds and anyone wanting an undemanding, goofy action comedy with a festive glow.
