The story
A struggling student at Korea's worst high school forms a study group while protecting his classmates with his fighting skills, hoping to overcome academic challenges and secure a spot in college.
What it’s like
Bright, crowded classrooms and sun-washed school corridors give this an energetic, lived-in look, with the comic timing of a webtoon translated into live action. The vibe is exhilarated and scrappy, the kind of show that moves quickly from a joke to a sudden burst of movement and back again. Its fight scenes are stylized and punchy rather than grim, and the violence is frequent but comic in tone, with the bruises and tussles read as bravado more than harm. The soundtrack leans on upbeat pop and percussive action cues that keep the pace snappy, with quieter moments for study sessions and classmates talking things through. The emotional register is warm and eager, with a steady current of teenage pressure over exams and what comes next. It suits a weeknight binge when you want momentum and laughs, or a playful comfort watch. Viewers who enjoy school-set underdog stories with a dose of action, and who don't mind a regular stream of brawling, will find it a good fit.
