The story
Curvy, curly, confident Mich knows she's fabulous. Now she just has to convince everyone else at her Xochimilco high school to believe it too.
What it’s like
Bright, sunny school-day comedy set in Xochimilco, with the canals, colorful trajinera boats and Mexico City outskirts giving the everyday scenes a warm, lived-in feel. The tone is buoyant and playful, built on hallway friction, classroom awkwardness and friendships in flux, with a heroine who stays unapologetically herself while her peers catch up. Its emotional register is upbeat and self-assured, with moments of teenage insecurity that resolve quickly rather than lingering. Expect light comedic stakes, social embarrassment and crushes rather than darkness, with no sustained fear or cruelty. It suits a relaxed weekend binge, a lift on a low-energy evening, or a comfort watch when you want something funny and affirming. It is especially fitting for viewers who want a body-positive, confidence-centered teen story with a Latin American setting and a bold, funny female lead.
