The story

Curate and manage incredible museums! Explore to discover amazing artifacts. Design and refine the layout, keep staff happy, guests entertained, donations plentiful… and children off the exhibits.

What it’s like

Bright, chunky cartoon rooms in saturated primary colours, with tiny staff and visitors bobbing about on bouncy, wobbling legs as the camera drifts above a dollhouse-like floor plan. The palette is warm and clean, with sunlit gallery halls, gleaming dinosaur bones and sepia-tinted historical wings, and the soundscape is a jaunty, plinking ragtime-and-chamber score that loops pleasantly under the clatter of footsteps, cash registers and the occasional toddler's shriek. Its vibe is cheerful, orderly and gently absurd, like a Sunday afternoon at a museum where everything is slightly off-kilter. Play moves at a relaxed, tinkering pace: long stretches of quietly arranging rooms, tweaking pathways and watching the numbers climb, punctuated by small comic mishaps that never really sting. Stakes are low and the emotional register stays light and affectionate, with staff and guests gradually becoming more contented as the museum grows. Violence is absent, and the only real threat is a bit of mess and chaos from unruly kids, so it is wholly gentle and family friendly. It suits a rainy weekend, a background session while winding down, or a comfort-game evening, and is made for players who enjoy building, planning and quietly optimising a space.
