The story

When a cheer squad practices their routines on Halloween weekend in an abandoned school, they are picked off one by one by an unknown killer.

What it’s like

Dim, cold school corridors after dark, with flashlight beams sweeping across empty lockers and gym floors, and the bright sparkle of pom-poms and glittery uniforms set against the shadowy decay of an abandoned building. Its vibe is playful teen slasher: campy, wisecracking and loud, with a Halloween-weekend chill underneath. The pacing runs on tight stalking sequences and bursts of chaotic routine practice, cutting between girlish bravado and rising panic as the group is picked off one by one. Tone stays snappy and sardonic rather than grim, though the body count keeps the stakes real. Intensity is high for a gentle watch: slasher violence, murder and bloodshed are central, with fear and suspense as the main register. It suits a Halloween-season horror night with friends, or a late-night watch for fans of cheer-comedy and kill-count thrillers, and it is not for anyone wanting something soft or low-stakes.
