The story

A father who runs a marriage bureau believes that his son is a failure in life. In order to prove him wrong, his son takes on the task of finding a match for a gangster's sister.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated studio colour and broad, wide frames built for big comic set-pieces, with the look of a glossy mainstream Hindi entertainer: sunlit Mumbai streets, gaudy interiors, and a crowd of ornamented wedding-season sets. The sound is loud and forward, a pop-and-filmi score with bouncing dance numbers and punchy comic stings that cut in whenever a gag lands. Its vibe is brash, sunny and silly, the kind of loud crowd-pleaser you put on for a Saturday afternoon with friends or a lively group watch. The pacing is brisk and deliberately overstuffed, with song breaks and slapstick routines stacked closely together, and the emotional register stays light: a bumbling son trying to win back his father's respect, a romance that blooms through misunderstandings, and a gangster subplot played for laughs. Action and fight sequences are frequent and stylised, with exaggerated stunts and cartoonish punches rather than real grit; violence is present but comic and bloodless, and there is some crude, innuendo-laden humour and a few suggestive lines. Not gentle or quiet, but not harsh either. Best for viewers who want big, goofy Bollywood energy, music, and a feel-good ending.
