The story

A small-time thug comes across a young girl who claims him to be her father, following which he realizes he has a lookalike who's being hunted by goons.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated Bollywood studio colour: glossy digital frames of mustard-yellow walls, flashy costumes and sun-washed Mumbai streets, with the camera swinging into big wide shots for song sequences and tight, punchy cuts for brawls. The vibe is loud, cheerful and proudly over-the-top, the kind of mass-entertainment spectacle you put on for a Saturday night with friends. Slapstick timing and exaggerated stunt choreography keep the rhythm brisk, with the music doing much of the emotional lifting through big dance numbers and bouncing dhol-driven beats. Violence is frequent and cartoonish: stylised fistfights and gunfire, with bodies flung across rooms but little real gore. Romance is light and teasing, and the father-daughter warmth comes with plenty of sentimental softening. Expect a few sexualised song moments and mild innuendo, but nothing graphic. This suits people who want a high-energy, feel-good action comedy with a big heart, a comfort watch that asks nothing of them but to enjoy the noise and the grin.
