The story

Just as Daniel and Kristi welcome a newborn baby into their home, a demonic presence begins terrorizing them, tearing apart their perfect world and turning it into an inescapable nightmare.

What it’s like

Grainy, fixed-camera night footage in dim suburban rooms, the greenish-grey low light of security feeds and hallway cameras, with long static takes that sit on an empty kitchen or stairwell until something moves at the edge of the frame. Sound does most of the work: a house settling, a baby monitor hissing, a sudden thud from upstairs, and a rising drone of unease that never quite resolves into score. The mood is slow-building dread with flashes of jolting shock, the kind of viewing that feels like being left alone in a house you don't trust. Pacing is deliberate, with long stretches of ordinary domestic routine pressed against sudden, brief eruptions. Its tone is tense, bleak and claustrophobic, and its emotional arc follows a young couple's growing helplessness as their home stops feeling safe. Intensity is moderate: fear and jump scares dominate, with some disturbing images, brief violence and a frightening climax, but no gore and little blood. It suits a dark night watched alone, a Halloween double feature, or anyone who wants suspense that relies on what is not shown. It is for viewers who enjoy found-footage horror and tension built from silence and waiting.
